Cybercrime is Getting Worse - That’s Good News for Cybersecurity Firms
Cybercrime is a growing problem, costing businesses trillions of dollars every year. The shift to remote work during the pandemic has only made things worse. Despite this, cybersecurity companies are facing a valuation slump.

There is also a shift from perimeter defense to zero-trust security, as well as a growing trend of outsourcing cybersecurity needs.
The future of cybersecurity is bright. Gartner predicts that spending on cybersecurity will continue to grow, with application security, cloud security, and data privacy being the fastest-growing segments. Several cybersecurity companies are also planning IPOs.
